O'Hare International Airport
Chicago O'Hare Airport (ORD) offers direct service to 208 destinations, including 153 domestic and 55 international destinations. As the primary airport in the Chicagoland area, ORD is located about 20 miles from the UIC campus and allows transportation via taxi (must reserve in advance), West Suburban Limo (must reserve in advance), Uber, Lyft, and public transit.
PUBLIC TRANSIT FROM O’HARE TO UIC:
The CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) offers both train and bus service throughout the City of Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. The trains in Chicago are known as the "L," and the
Blue Line L trains are the easiest and most affordable way to travel from or to O'Hare Airport.
The Blue Line offers 24-hour service with more frequent service during weekday morning and evening rush hours. You can also connect to most other CTA lines through the Blue Line.

The O’Hare Airport Blue Line Station is in the lower level of Terminal 2.
To reach the station: Use the ATS (Airport Transit System) if traveling from Terminal 5 and follow the posted signs. The ATS runs every 7 minutes approximately.
From terminals 1 and 3, the Blue Line station is easily accessed by walking.

Chicago Midway International Airport
Chicago Midway Airport (MDW) is Illinois' second busiest airport, and primarily serves passengers flying to destinations across North America. Situated just ten miles south-west of downtown Chicago and 10 miles from the UIC campus, Midway Airport can easily be reached in less than 30 minutes using the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) Orange Line trains, regional buses, taxi (must reserve in advance), West Suburban Limo (must reserve in advance), Uber, or Lyft. The CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) offers both train and bus service in the City of Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. The CTA trains in Chicago are well known as the "L," and the
Orange Line trains are the easiest and most affordable way to get to Midway from downtown via public transit.
The Orange Line train service operates from approximately
4:00 to 4:30 am to approximately
1:00 am every day with more frequent service during weekday morning and evening rush hours. Alternate overnight ("owl") service is available via the N62 Archer bus.
