Standard simplex atomizer program status and expectations

 

Abstract:

A simplex atomizer geometry has been generated to coordinate empirical and experimental work in thin film breakup around one geometry. Ten standard atomizers were produced for distribution similar to the ECN group. Program structure is discussed and results in high speed videography and laser diffraction droplet measurement are presented. Future geometries addressing other challenging atomization processes are also discussed.
